Suki Tiwana

Head of Colleague & Labour Relations, Asia Pacific, American Express

As Head of Colleague & Labour Relations Suki has responsibility for the strategy and delivery of employee and labour relations initiatives across 12 countries in Asia Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, Suki is passionate about creating an organizational culture and environment in which employees can excel. She is a strong advocate of employee wellness and mental well-being. 

Suki joined American Express Hong Kong in 2014 as Head of Employee Relations- Greater China. In 2016, she moved to the Philippines as American Express Head of Human Resources. As member of the County Executive Team, Suki played an integral leadership role in the growth of the Philippines business from c65 to 2,500+ employees.  

In 2019, Suki was also the Chairperson of the Global In-House Center Council (GICC), Human Resources sub-committee, Philippines.  

Prior to joining American Express, Suki worked in a number of global financial institutions, both in regional and global leadership roles, spanning a wide range of HR disciplines. Suki has an impressive track record of leading HR Transformation initiatives resulting in enhanced service delivery to businesses.   

 Suki has an MBA from the University of Portsmouth, UK, as well as a  Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management and Bachelor’s Degree in Genetics.
