Assistant Director - Digital
Amin has been in the fields of teaching, training and L&D since 1999 and has been involved in eLearning and digital projects since 2009. He joined the British Council in Singapore in 2017 after having worked as a training consultant in Malaysia for about 4 years.
Coming from an engineering background, Amin has extensive experience in delivering workshops in various contexts globally. He also worked as a programme manager, head of department and centre manager before joining the British Council.
He is a future technologies enthusiast and gives talks at international conferences on digital technologies and their impact on life and work in the future. His main fields of interest are preparing individuals to live and work in the digital era, the future of workplace learning, future skills and open learning models.
He now works as the acting assistant director and digital technologist with the Professional Development Centre, where he focuses on finding solutions to HR and L&D training needs with the application of learning technologies and development of eLearning modules. He also works towards facilitating the emergence and growth of the Professional Development Centre community in the digital era.
