Sophie joined Experian 4 years ago as Head of HR for Experian’s Global Corporate Functions. Sophie went onto lead Human Resources for Experian’s Europe Middle East and Africa region which spanned 16 countries ranging from Russia to South Africa. In September 2018 Sophie relocated to Singapore where she holds the role of Human Resources Director for Asia Pacific. This is a high growth and innovative business with employees located in 12 countries across the region. Sophie partners the CEO Asia Pacific and sits on the regional Executive Team as well as Experian’s Global HR Leadership Team. She leads a team of 54 people across the full spectrum of Human Resources; HR Partners, Reward, People Analytics, Talent, Learning and Development and Operations. Sophie’s key responsibility is to support the growth of the APac region and enable the business to attract and develop talent, create high performing teams and develop management and leadership capabilityShe views her role as business leader first, with an HR specialism. 

Sophie has 14 years of HR experience working for companies such as Rolls-Royce, Royal Bank of Scotland and 3i Private EquityShe has worked and lived in China, Singapore and UK and enjoys the complexities of regional and global roles.Sophie led large scale organisational restructuring in RBS and was selected to be on a small working group advising the CEO how to transform the culture of the bank to be more customer and conduct centric during a time of notable change. 

Sophie has afirst class BA (Hons) degree from Durham University in Geography.
