Vice President, Human Resources - Lane Crawford
Mabel Wong is Vice President – Human Resources for Lane Crawford. She leads the Human Resources team and plays a major role in the company's overall performance, leading organisational and people strategy, promoting operational effectiveness, and elevating team performance through innovative leadership.
Mabel has extensive experience leading organisational transformations, driving large scale growth, talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning. She brings a customer centric and business-oriented perspective to the human resources function and in Lane Crawford’s planned implementation of company-wide transformational changes. This builds capability across the company and enhancing efficiencies through the transformation process. She has also created a Centre of Excellence, bringing together appropriate services into a shared model and human resources partnership, increasing operational abilities and efficiency for Lane Crawford.
Mabel has over 19 years of human resources experience. Prior to Lane Crawford, Mabel held leadership positions at Swire Resources, CSL, SCMP and in the financial sector. While at other corporations, she led different HR teams in all aspects of creating, directing, and executing strategic human resources including organisational design, strategic staffing, talent management, diversity and inclusion, succession planning, leadership development, executive and incentive compensation, workforce planning, and labor and employee relations.
Mabel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, and completed a post-graduate program at Stanford University.
